Psilodump's remix of Skruvmejsel's very old classic "Planet 54" is now featured on a new online compilation at Kahvi Collective, also entitled "Planet 54" (most demonstrably after the Skruvmejsel tune).

The original Skruvmejsel version of the tune is actually not available anywhere anymore, except for a 1 minute clip. This after Lithis, Skruvmejsel and Psilodump each have had severe harddrive crashes during the past years, thus loosing the only existing copies of the tune.

The Remix was originally released on the first The X-Dump netlabel release; "Skruvmejsel - L8 Mas-Q" (XD-NETS-001).

Right, we have mentioned this one before, but now, after some delays and blahblah, the compilation is finally out!

This CD, from the Swedish electronic / industrial label Plutonium Distribution, is the second showcase compilation, including 18 tracks from both unknown and known artists, such as the two X-Dumpians Din Stalker and Psilodump.

The Psilodump tune, Vuoksa, is previously unreleased and said by many being one of Psilo's absolute finest ever!? Do we agree? YES!

The X-Dump's digital netlabel returns with an unrestrainedly fanciful new collection of minialbums after a few months vacation!

First out is the exasperatingly difficult yet fully delightful 7 track drama based around terrestrial mollusks of the class Gastropoda, entitled "Happy Pet Snail", adapted by our highly skilled 6.5 feet snail-tentacle-ninja-apprentice Lithis from out of town!!!

To aid him on his ninja quest Lithis has brought along the fellow X-Dumpians Dorothy's Magic Bag and Psilodump to perform some fancy remix-tricks!!!

This mission cannot feasibly fail!
Hooray for Lithis and the snails!

Ayhan Aydin has made a dirty and weird yet fantastic remix of Psilodump's "Feign Embrace", which can be downloaded from his homepage! The original version of the tune will be released on Kahvi Collective in a couple of weeks.

Hot damn! The Sampler CD included with the November/December issue of the French D-Side Magazine (issue 31) includes the superduper hit "Herr Reporter" by Din Stalker (The X-Dump), along with tunes from acts like DK7, DJ Hell and Boards of Canada, aswell as tunes by people who are total strangers to us - like never heard of or whatever? But it's all good, we suppose! Hooray! Get it now!!!

The Art of Realistix presents yet another blast from the past; Pushiro (aka J.Panic / Psilodump) keeps bothering us with his third release, "Drop the Kontrabas", including two previously unreleased tracks, the hyperactive superacid titeltune "Drop the Kontrabas" (1996) and the housey yet heavy "Bad Ass" (1997), aswell as an acidrejv remix of "Collecting Sonic II" by Bobbygunnar (original on AoR003)!

Our hunky supernerd Psilodump made a fancy but brief appearance in the Finnish news program, Uutiset, on Swedish national television SVT2 today. The gammelninja shares some thoughts about The X-Dump netlabel, about the desperation of the industry towards the illegal downloading of music and about how legal digital distribution might save the music industry from going straight to hell. Well done ;)
